Sitting on the eastern side of Southwest Virginia, right in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains is Dublin Clays. It was founded by Doctor David J. Skewes (Doc) in 1976 where he constructed 2 Skeet fields. The range soon grew to include 5-Stand, a Trap field and a few electric and manual Sporting traps. In 2008, a group of our present members purchased more equipment and expanded our operation. Currently, Dublin Clays is one the largest ranges in Virginia, having ample equipment to provide multiple events at once.

Within the last 6 years, Dublin Clays has grown to include 3 regulation Skeet fields, a second 5-Stand, and a 16 station Sporting course with 6 Parcours of FITASC operational year-round. All traps include new and rebuilt state of the art equipment with multiple battery operated traps.

Recent renovations include a new Skeet office, picnic shelter, modern bathroom facilities, electrical hookups for campers, target storage and an indoor .22 range. Looking forward, we have plans for additional shooting and sporting opportunities.
