About Us:

Doxa is the Greek word used in the New Testament of the Bible that is translated as "glory," and glory is the displaying of God's beauty. When we changed our name to Doxa several years ago, it was because we desired to be a people to loving God and neighbor by proclaiming and displaying the beauty of God to Woodstock and McHenry County. 

We are an evangelical, Southern Baptist church. But the most common experience of visitors is that we focus on the Bible, thoughtful worship songs, the Lord's Supper, and fellowship with one another.
