History

Delta First Assembly was birthed out of a series of tent revivals from 1923 to 1926, spear headed by the Morton sisters (Bessie, Eva, and Mae). After the third tent meeting on the SE corner of 5th and Grand, in which over 1000 people attended, a church was founded by approx. 50 of those attendees and A.A. Lowe was appointed Pastor. An Assemblies of God Church was chartered. Almost a hundred years later this community of believers is still serving the community and the Lord Jesus faithfully.
