Dancing for Animals holds dance classes, parties & events to raise funds to give grants to other 501c3 animal welfare organizations with similar purposes to support & perpetuate their animal welfare initiatives; provides emergency & other temporary care to homeless & abandoned animals including but not limited to veterinary care, shelter, boarding, adoption, & Trap, Neuter, Return assistance; coordinates resources/networks with individuals & organizations with similar purposes; creates programs that contribute to animal welfare such as a local pet food pantry; inspires volunteerism & charitable consciousness by educating & increasing awareness of animal welfare issues and by encouraging the replication of dance related fundraising activities to benefit animals.
