Mission:

The heart of Crossroads Community Church is to help people BELONG, GROW, and BE SENT all in the name of Jesus.

Vision:

Crossroads will be a joy-filled transforming church making disciples of Jesus.  As we make this journey forward the communities we live in will benefit by becoming joy filled and transformed as well.

About Us:

Crossroads Community Church began as an idea of a group of people in 2001.  The name came about because they wanted the church they were a part of to be a place where faith and life would meet together at the cross. This group, along with Pastor Don DeKok, a RCA church planter, formulaged a mission statment that would say so much about who they want to be.  And so it came together, "Crossroads Community Church is a welcoming family of God, where people's hearts are restored one at a time, and people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ."

In June 2002, they began worshipping in the theater of the Esthervile Lincoln Central High School.  In April 2003, Pastor Jason Olson, a graduating seminary student, and his family were invited to come Palm Sunday to give the worship message.  Soon the call was issued to Pastor Olson to become the leader of this church. Pastor Don and the church found an office on N. 6th Street that would become an office and meeting place.

When looking for a permanent building site, the old DOT building in Estherville became available. Many workers assisted in the extreme building makeover.  On Christmas Eve of 2005, the first worship service in the new building was held. September 18, 2011, Crossroads Community Church became a fully organized church in the Reformed Church of America.  The old DOT building has now surely become a "Department of Transformation."

In 2012, Jason Olson answered a call to pastor a church in Michigan.  In August 2013, Rev. Michael Drew was installed as the new pastor.
