The Crossett Public School District is the pride and joy of Crossett, Arkansas. Our district is located in the south eastern corner of Arkansas, near the Louisiana/Mississippi border. We sit in the heart of a 750,000 acre forest, which is a chief source of income for our community. Our district covers 214 square miles. We are home to approximately 2,200 students from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade. We have 2 elementary schools, 1 middle school, 1 junior high school, and 1 high school in addition to our new pre-k program. This year, the Crossett School District is part of a consortium with 2 other districts to form the Ashley Drew Learning Academy. We employ 178 certified employees and 161 classified employees, including 1 school nurse, 3 speech therapists, 1 occupational therapist, 1 social worker, 5 library media specialists, and 6 counselors. We have a technology department consisting of a technology coordinator, three technology assistants and a technology secretary.

Our district is NCA accredited and strives diligently to meet and exceed state educational standards. We offer several exciting programs to our students. All students in grades K-6 participate in the Direct Instruction Reading Program as well as the Everyday Math Program. Our high school students hav ea variety of courses form which to select as well as special programs such as our NJROTC program and our Med Pro Ed Program.

We have tremendous community involvement with our school district and can proudly boast of the largest Adopt-A-School Program in the Nation. Our local businesses and industries continually support our faculty, staff, and students through whatever means required to meet the goals of our district.
