Clinton Rosette Middle School

Clinton Rosette Middle School has 720 sixth, seventh and eighth grade students. Rosette is actively engaged in the middle school concept in order to meet the unique needs of our students. There are two core academic teams at each grade level. These academic teams consist of math, language arts, social studies and science courses. Because the teachers on each team have the students for a block of time, they are able to get to know the students and meet their individual needs. In addition to the core subjects, students at Clinton Rosette have the opportunity to participate in a rotation of classes that include art, music, computers and health. Students are also exposed to a variety of educational and interesting topics through their exploratory classes. In addition to a strong curriculum, students at Clinton Rosette may choose from a variety of clubs and athletics to enhance their school experience. Band and orchestra are also offered to the students at Rosette. We have 54 certified and 26 support staff members working to provide a quality learning experience for our students. We are part of DeKalb Community Unit School District #428, a Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade district with a total enrollment of approximately 5,700 students.

Students and staff at Clinton Rosette are encouraged to display the three school-wide expectations of Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe. When students are caught practicing these behaviors, they are recognized by the staff and are rewarded for their effort. Monthly celebrations are used to reward those students who consistently display Rosette’s behavioral expectations.

We are committed to providing our students with a friendly, inviting, and academically challenging educational environment. We are proud of our staff and the work they do; they are committed to the success of each and every one of our students. Working with parents and community, our goal is to help children reach their full potential. Parents are encouraged to get to know their child's teachers and contact the school with any questions or concerns.
