About Us:

Half the fun of a long trip is getting there! West Monroe is located off of Interstate 20 between many large cities. We offer year round excitement for the entire family, and the best part of it all is the genuine southern charm experienced at every site. In the mood for shopping? We certainly have the place for you. Antique Alley offers more than 5 blocks with over 50 stores for the antique lover in your traveling group. Find anything from furniture and home décor to jewelry and clothing.

West Monroe also knows how to throw a party. In February the cities light up with excitement as the Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras Parade winds its way through the streets and energized crowd. This nighttime parade has the ambiance of a true New Orleans Mardi Gras. Also, enjoy our many arts and crafts shows, concerts, Car Shows, and Run/Walks, which are scheduled throughout the year. Visit us again in the winter months for our numerous Christmas activities within the cities.

For those who would rather enjoy the natural beauty of our twin cities, enjoy the picturesque sites that will have people coming back again and again. Take a walk along the banks of the Ouachita River, which separates Monroe and West Monroe. Said by National Geographic to be one of the top ten most beautiful rivers, the Ouachita River is not only beautiful to look at but the fishing is plentiful too. After that you can stroll through Kiroli Park and enjoy picnicking, tennis, playgrounds, paved walkways for jogging and bicycling, fishing pond, gazebo and conservatory. Enjoy the exhilarating suspended bridge or several lookout towers along the beautiful nature trails.

We are certain here in West Monroe that you won't want to leave once you experience all we have to offer. So, on your way there, stop here and bring the family to enjoy all of the adventures and treasures waiting to be found in West Monroe!
