Mission of the City

The mission of the City Government is to contribute consistently to Prineville's reputation as a safe, welcoming and friendly place to live, work, play, learn, and visit.

    -We will invest resources to provide for selected community-based services determined to be necessary or beneficial for our community, or as required by statute.
    -We will consistently involve residents in planning and budgeting.
    -We will maintain facilities and equipment in a manner that protects the investment of precious tax dollars.
    -We will inspire community members to work together effectively to consistently build a strong, viable local economy that improves the standard of living for residents and businesses.
