The City of Newell is located in the Northwest area of Iowa in Buena Vista County. Our population is 876 and was established in 1869. We are a small town but a mighty community. We have a great recreational complex at our City Park area including a 9 hole golf course, swimming pool, shelter house, tennis courts, 2 baseball diamonds, playground equipment and tree park with gazebo.
