City Of Lindsay

312 South Main Street
405-756-2019

Lindsayites voted 211 for and 12 against on November 23, 1946 to become a city. Roy Turner, Governor of Oklahoma declared Lindsay to be a city on December 20th 1946. We are still a strong and growing city here in 2005.

Lindsay is centrally located at the junctions of State Highways 19 and 76. We are approximately 50 miles south of Oklahoma City. 30-35 miles southwest of Norman (home of the OKLAHOMA SOONERS) and about 25 miles west of Pauls Valley & I-35 and 24 miles east of Chickasha and the Turner Turnpike.

Our population is around 3000 people. We have one of the finest schools in the State of Oklahoma. Several parks, a golf course, a sports complex, historical sites, our very own radio station KBLP 105.1 FM and lots of other interesting stuff to do and see.

So have a look around the site and learn more about our town, it's citizens, the government, our churches and schools and our quality of life.
