Established in 1868, De Soto has always taken great pride in our small town values with a moderate population of just over a thousand residents. De Soto continues to possess a strong character built upon a solid foundation by our Community Leaders, City Staff, Award-winning Public Works Department, State Accredited City Library, Police and Fire Department.
