About Us :

Christ Lutheran Church is part of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Offering a ministry of Word and Sacrament to the West Newton community since 1830, the Christ Lutheran congregation worships in its third building on the present site.

All baptized Christians are welcome to receive Communion, including children at their parents' discretion. Those who do not commune are welcome to come to the alter rail to receive the Church's blessing. You may stand or kneel at the rail, as you wish.
