History :

Chisholm Trail Academy came into existence when Southwestern Junior College was granted full college status and closed its academy operation in 1967. CTA's first graduating class was in 1968.

Chisholm Trail Academy is a Seventh-day Adventist co-educational high school located at Fourth and Old Betsy in Keene, TX. Keene is located midway between Alvarado and Cleburne, 25 miles south of Forth Worth.

CTA is situated on 27 spacious acres. The facility includes two ball fields, a gymnasium with stage, 15 classrooms, library, industrial vocational building and an administrative complex.
