Mission Statement

Chino Valley Community Church exists to glorify God by being and making Disciples of Christ.

People can recognize the way Christians love others. It's different than what is experienced in the world. As a church, we are continuously striving for relationships that build a strong community and help us grow in our love for Jesus. Experience how CVCC can make a difference in your life, and discover our vision, what we believe, and who we are.

History

On Sunday, February 13, 1994, a story began such as had never before been read in the Chino Valley. Four churches blended together to form our present-day Chino Valley Community Church (CVCC). New Community Evangelical Free Church, Walnut Valley Baptist Fellowship, Chino Valley Community Church and a handful of members of Chino Valley Friends Church celebrated their first worship service together. Out of this merge, a dual alliance was retained with both the Baptist General and Southwest Baptist Conferences.

After meeting at Don Lugo High School for nine months, the church moved to a renovated warehouse on Monte Vista Avenue, which was soon bursting at the seams. In answer to CVCC's need for a home of its own, God dramatically provided a property with over eleven acres on Peyton Drive, and the dream of a multiphase ministry complex.

In May of 1999, the church joyfully relocated to our beautiful Phase I building. Buildings don't change lives, what goes on inside them does! By itself, a building has no eternal value. The Phase II project was not about just another building. Its purpose was to expand our ministry. God has blessed us with people of all ages who are thirsty for living water. Yet we were out of space to accommodate everyone. Phase II was completed in 2005 and has enabled us to enlarge our boundaries of ministry. This education building provides more classroom space for teaching, discipleship, fellowship, and outreach - ministries that change people's lives. If God is willing, Phase III plans would include a worship center with a wing for more classrooms and office space. This would allow our current worship center to be used as our youth building, as well as a recreation facility to reach out to the community.
