Waterford is the center of Oakland County in that the intersection of M59 and Crescent Lake Road is the exact center of both Waterford and Oakland County. The Township of Waterford is very close to well known entertainment facilities; the Palace, the Pontiac Silverdome, Meadowbrook and DTE Energy Music Theatre, formerly Pine Knob. We have nearby ski lodges, golf courses, and numerous lakes. We are the third largest township of the 1,242 in the State of Michigan with a population of 73,150.
