On behalf of the Charleroi Area School District we welcome you to our community. We are pleased that you have chosen to be a part of our school district.Our school district has enjoyed amazing achievements.

Our district includes three public schools. An Elementary Center (K-5), a Middle School (6-8), and a High School (9-12). After our renovation in 2000, we now have up to date facilities as well as educational appliances and advancements. Charleroi School District consists of 1719 students and 127 faculty and staff.

Our set of courses are created directly by the classroom teachers. Our school district is led by nine school board members which are elected and serve voluntarily for a four-year term. The board members in Charleroi have an enthusiastic awareness in the educational curriculum and the interests of our students.

Here at Charleroi, we are all tremendously proud of our educational, creative and athletic achievements. We have found that parents or guardians are always extremely active within school activities and functions. We encourage parents and guardians to participate and volunteer as much as possible within the school because without them we could not provide the broad educational curriculum that we have today.
