CASA of Yavapai County

2840 N. Commonwealth Dr.

Arizona's Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program provides volunteers who are trained to speak for children who have come into protective custody as a result of abuse, neglect, or abandonment.  CASA volunteers learn all the information they can about a child's case, regularly meet and listen to the child, attend courts on the child's behalf, and prepare an informed recomendation to the presenting judge. CASA volunteers make sure that the child is receiving necessary medical care and that educational needs are being met. Often our advocates are the one constant person that is in the child's life as they go through this traumatic expereince.
