Our History:

Card Table Theatre was founded in 1997 in Lawrence Kansas.  Since that time, Card Table has produced over fifty productions and co-productions within the Lawrence Ks. Area.  Members of Card Table theatre have gone on to become actors, clowns, musicians, artists, and Emergency Management Technitians.  Card Table is proud to be a member of the Lawrence Association of Film and Theatre, and is sponsored in part by a grant from the Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission.

Our Focus:

Card Table seeks out new plays, spaces, and performers, hoping to breathe life into the arts scene through collaboration and performance.  Card Table offers the community a chance to see original plays and existing works by important playwrights, performed in unique and varied spaces, live theatre at a price that is affordable for all theatre-goers

Our Mission:

Card Table Theatre springs from a desire to explore new work, showcase regional and local talent, and to combine differing facets of art into dynamic and relevant current work.
