Canton City School District - Early Childhood Education

Washington Building(formerly Washington School), 1220 Ninth Street, N.E.
330-580-3033

The Canton City School District makes quality Early Childhood Programs affordable for parents who need assistance in order to provide a preschool experience for their children. The results are a greater degree of social skill in your child; a stronger capacity to cope with the world around them; and a keener awareness of the opportunities that life has to offer.

Our focus on education is designed to meet the individual needs of your child. Regardless of cultural background or special needs, each child is offered a variety of learning experiences. Your child will participate in a structured day that will enable him or her to share indoor and outdoor activities, express feelings, practice self-confidence, and develop the ability to get along with others.

The Early Childhood Program emphasizes that services be available to all eligible children. Children with handicapping conditions are given an opportunity to learn, play and interact with their peers. Our integrated preschool classrooms help all children develop healthy attitudes and perceptions about people with special needs.
