BJ is a mother of 3 daughters and grandmother of 8, and has served as a Police Officer for over 25 years in K-12 and now at Blinn Junior College. She has taught many crime prevention programs, such as DARE and GREAT, and community programs for parents and others. She is a Certified NRA Pistol Instructor and CHL/LTC Instructor for the State of Texas. BJ has been a member of AG & AG since 2012.
