Mission Statement: 

Buck Lodge Middle School will create a healthy and dynamic learning environment comprised of students, staff, parents, and the community, that will collaborate to provide all students with academic and technological skills through enriching learning experiences in order to help them grow into successful college and career ready members of the 21st century global community.  Stakeholders will focus on the total development of every student, allowing for a diversity of learning styles. 

Vision Statement:

Our vision incorporates the tenets of Community of Caring Character Education and the Comer process into the daily operation of the school to ensure a positive, secure, caring school for students, staff, and families.  Buck Lodge Middle School is a nationally recognized School of Character.   Additionally, Buck Lodge Middle School operates under the Comer School Development Program Reform Model.  The school day consists of a five mod block schedule.  All classes meet for a 63/70 minute instructional block.  The enrichment/resource time will be set aside daily to accommodate the learners' capabilities.  The Creative Arts/PE/Health classes operate on an A day/B day schedule.  Teachers plan with their grade level teams on A days and with their content departments on B days.
