About Us:

Bremerton residents proudly refer to Bremerton School District as the county's "best kept secret." A student population of 5,700 is housed in a 9-12 high school, an alternative program, one middle school for grade 6 -8, and six elementary schools. The district also hosts West Sound Technical Skills Center, a cooperative career-technical educational program for high school students. District facilities are new and technologically state-of-the-art. The community is enthusiastic about the 1,300-seat performing arts center at the high school and regularly use nearly all buildings for a host of community activities.

Bremerton School District prides itself on meeting the needs of all of its students. Special Education and Title I programs have been recognized by the state and federal governments for their support of students with special needs. After-school and early morning tutoring programs provide additional opportunities for students to work with teachers and community volunteers. Students are encouraged to continue their education, and a career counselor guides students through college decisions and scholarship applications.
