In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them.
 
Boys and Girls Club of Brazoria County offers that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Our mission is to inspire and able all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

The mission of the Boys and Girls Club of Brazoria County is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. Boys & Girls Club of Brazoria County provides a safe place to learn and grow, ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals, life-enhancing programs and character development experiences, hope and opportunity.

By reaching children at an early age and providing positive activities and encouragement, Clubs provide a compelling alternative to youth crime, gang membership, drugs and other negative influences that effect youth today.

Club programs promote the development of young people by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, influence and belonging. When this strategy is fully implemented, self-esteem is enhanced and an environment is created which helps our members achieve their full potential. Additionally, Members learn to:
