About The Chamber:

The Bossier Chamber of Commerce is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote growth and development within the communities of Bossier Parish and Shreveport. The Chamber promotes growth and development by utilizing its most valuable resource, its membership.

The size and diversity of the membership and our retention of members contributes to this successful image. These factors, as well as the range and quality of our services, our ability to develop effective partnerships, and our commitment to protect the business environment, make our Chamber a success.

The Chamber collaborates with the Greater Bossier Economic Development Foundation to promote A New Day in Bossier. This program tries to administer a comprehensive, long-term, economic development program that has relevancy and in addition meets the needs of the Bossier community. This program focuses on key community elements, the economic health of the community and the direct impact on education. A New Day in Bossier allows the Chamber and the GBEDF to continue their leadership roles in support of both I-49 and I-69 and assist the effort to maintain the strength of Barksdale Air Force Base.

The Chamber Officers and Directors will implement Chamber programs through committees such as these:

Community Development.
Economic Development Education.
Governmental Affairs.
Membership Development.
Military Affairs.
Small Business Development.
Tourism and Entertainment.

The staff at the Bossier Chamber of commerce works to insure that the resources, equipment, and professional staff to implement the program of work are available.

The Chamber actively pursues partnerships with other organizations to make a lasting impact on the community. Individuals, businesses and schools unite with the Chamber to create unique workforce development programs and provide special services that directly benefit members.
