Bloomsburg Rotary Club

The Bloomsburg Rotary Club supports Rotary International's efforts and has been committed to local service for over 85 years. The club is a part of the Adopt-A-Highway program and is committed to the Bloomsburg Area Soup Kitchen by preparing the Community Friendship Meal several times each year. Funding has been provided for a variety of area organizations, including the Children's Museum, EOS Therapeutic Riding Center, Bloomsburg Little League, Boy Scouts, Columbia County Food Bank and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Among the projects the club is most proud of is the contribution of a walk-in freezer to the Food Bank. Club members were also involved in the renovation of the Food Bank's current home in a former fire hall on Center Street, Bloomsburg. Bloomsburg Rotary has a long history with Bloomsburg Town Park and the Norris Rock Memorial Pool. Two pavilions have been built by the club including the Centennial Pavilion in 2005, thanks to the generous support of many area businesses and individuals.
