Beliefs:

ABOUT  GOD

We believe that God is eternal and exists in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, which we refer to as the Trinity.  We believe that God created this world, man and everything in the world.  We believe that God controls this world today.  We believe that God gives life to everything in this world.

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  Jesus is co-equal with the Father and was before the creation of the world.  Jesus left heaven, came to earth as a baby to become the only perfect and acceptable sacrifice for the sins of mankind through His death on the cross.  He will come back to receive those who have placed their trust in Him.

ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is the third part of the Trinity.  He is equal with God the Father and God the Son.   He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.

ABOUT MAN

Man was created in the Spiritual Image of God to be God’s earthly family.  Man was given the responsibility to manage this earth.  Man violated God’s commands, sinned, and experienced spiritual separation from God.  The Bible says that all men are sinners.

ABOUT ETERNITY

God existed before He created this earth and will exist when this earth is completely destroyed.  Since God created man to be part of His Spiritual family, He created man to live forever.  When this life on earth is complete – we move to an eternal life.  The eternal life will be lived with God in Heaven or separated from God in Hell.

ABOUT SALVATION

Man is saved by God’s Grace through Faith.  We are not saved by good works or morality.  If we could save ourselves then there was no need for Jesus.  We are saved when we truly believe in our heart that Jesus is the Son of God and man’s only way to God.  We must accept God’s gift of salvation by acknowledging our sin and by prayer, we ask Jesus to come into our life.  Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

ABOUT ETERNAL SECURITY

Since man cannot do anything to save himself from sin, but must rely on God’s grace, then it is God’s grace that will keep us secure until heaven.

ABOUT THE BIBLE

The Bible is God’s message to man.  It was written by men, inspired of the Holy Spirit of God, over a period of 1500 years.  The Bible is 100 percent accurate on all topics.  By God’s grace the Bible has been preserved through the ages in spite of the effort of man to destroy and discredit it.  It was given to us by God, through the Holy Spirit.  It is given to us to instruct us, to correct us and to equip us for every good work ordained by God.

ABOUT BAPTISM

Baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and is your public declaration that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Baptism does not save you, but shows the world that you have already been saved. And while baptism is not required for salvation, it is a biblical command and demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ.

ABOUT COMMUNION

The night before Jesus was Crucified He had a special meal with the Disciples, known as Communion or The Lord’s Supper.  This meal was part of the worship of the early church and remains today a special part of our worship.  It is a time to call us back to remember the Death of Jesus, a time to examine our lives, and a time to remember that Jesus is coming back.
