The Biddeford Saco Rotary Club was chartered on January 17th, 1920. In 1995 we celebrated our 75th anniversary. It was a gigantic affair with members of Rotary International and Bideford England Rotary Club, their sister club, attending the gala. Since our inception we have had an enormous impact on the surrounding community. We have extended the organization by chartering other clubs, including chartering the Kennebunk, Scarborough and Saco-Bay Rotary Clubs. Our long history of community service includes a wide variety of projects we have undertaken with members that strictly follow the Rotary ideals of Service Above Self.
