Mission Statement

Baton Elementary School will be a school in which administration, faculty, student body, and community work together to provide a safe, well-structured environment; a school which challenges a student's full potential as well as fostering a desire for lifelong learning. We recognize that the curriculum should not only teach basic academic skills, but also attempt to meet the social, moral, intellectual, physical, and emotional needs of each student. We believe that every child should be encouraged to work and think creatively and independently, function cooperatively with others, develop self-discipline, and function as a responsible, productive citizen.
