Audubon Sharon Center

Audubon Sharon Center
325 Cornwall Bridge Road
860-364-0520

Audubon Sharon consists of the Sharon Audubon Center, Emily Winthrop Miles Wildlife Sanctuary, and two additional nature sanctuaries, which totals 3,000 primarily forested acres with 11 miles of trails and two ponds in Sharon. The center hosts programs throughout the year and houses a small natural history museum, the Audubon Nature Store, and the Children's Adventure Center. Its adjacent grounds include raptor aviaries with live birds of prey, gardens, and a working sugarhouse. This location is home to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic for injured and orphaned wildlife. The center and staff also coordinate Audubon’s Forests conservation work in Connecticut.

We have been connecting people with nature since its founding in 1961 with the mission to protect birds, other wildlife, and their habitats by creating life-changing experiences that inspire and enable school children, community members, and their families to appreciate, understand, and protect the natural world.

Audubon Sharon is part of Audubon Connecticut, a state office of the National Audubon Society, and the Atlantic Flyway. Sharon Audubon Center is one of three Audubon Connecticut centers in the state—the sister centers include Audubon Center Bent of the River and Audubon Greenwich.
