Auburn Middle School is Fauquier County's fifth and newest middle school. Opened in August of 2004, Auburn houses students in grades 6-8. Located on Riley Road in the Warrenton area, Auburn's three feeder elementary schools are C. Hunter Ritchie, P.B. Smith, and H.M. Pearson.

Auburn is the home of the Wildcats! Our school colors are Midnight Blue, Country Blue, and White. Students, staff, and visitors will see our colors throughout the building--in the floor tile, the lockers, the gym wall padding, and the office carpet, among various other areas.

We educate approximately 455 eager and enthusiastic students each day. Auburn's staff of approximately 65 licensed and classsified members know our purpose is to provide a safe, clean, structured learning environment for our students.

In addition to our academic offerings, we also offer athletic and extra curricular opportunities. Students may participate in a variety of sports, including football, basketball, cheerleading, volleyball, and soccer. Extra-curricular activities include yearbook, art club, Battle of the Books, and National Junior Honor Society.
