The Division of Police provides police protection to the 24,000 residents of the City of Ashland. Our patrol area covers approximately 10 square miles and 86 miles of roads.Our police services include, but are not limited to, road patrol; an Investigative Bureau (including a narcotics unit affiliated with METRICH, a multi-county drug investigation Bureau); a K-9 unit; Bicycle patrol, DARE program; and School Resource Officer; and a Special Response Team which has county-wide responsibilities.
