About Us

Ashland Christian Fellowship is located in Ashland, Oregon at the corner of Oak and Hersey.

We are an affiliate of Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California. Pastor Chuck Smith is the Founder of Calvary Chapel Churches. These fellowships grew out of tent meetings held in Southern California during the Jesus Movement of the late 60's and early 70's. Our own fellowship began when a young man (Andy Green - established under Pastor Chuck's ministry), came to Ashland with his wife Paige.  They soon began a Bible study in their home.

Currently (just as it was back then), our fellowship centers around the study of the entire Word of God, heart -felt worship, a belief in God's desire to work in people's lives and HIS power to do so though the work of Jesus and the presence of the Holy Spirit.  This includes an understanding that He desires a personal relationship with each one of us, which involves praying (communicating) continually with Him.

Our current Pastor is Mark Anderson  (who also was a church -planter in Southern Oregon in the 1980's). Pastor Mark continues the Calvary Chapel tradition of expounding on each subject that the scripture presents as we go through the Bible. This way we are sure to hear all of God's revelation, and thus are accountable to it;  In addition, we are also comforted, encouraged and given hope by it.
