Our Mission

Our mission is to promote the diverse artistic and cultural resources of Livingston Parish, to support established and emerging artistic endeavors, and to stimulate public support for the arts.  Our major goal for 2016 -2018 will be providing our emerging and established artists venues for exhibiting and selling their art in our galley by hosting and publicizing a monthly exhibit for artists with an established "Second Saturday Reception".Our focus for 2016 - 2018 is "Art in Education"  in the elementary schools in Livingston Parish.  This project shows how reading, writing, math and history can be learned through both visual and performing arts.

 The ACLP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was started by a group of volunteers who realized that communities with strong arts and cultural values have strong economic and educational advantages. Since its inception, the ACLP has been a catalyst for artistic development in our area. Our organization ensures a rich, multi-faceted heritage for present and future generations.
