Our Vision

"Our school is a caring, sharing, and vibrant part of the community. Our students respect each other and seek guidance and nurturing from their teachers and significant others."

Armstrong Township High School, grades 9-12, is a rural district of 135 square miles lying in Western Vermilion County and Eastern Champaign County. It is unique in that none of the towns lying within the district are incorporated villages (Gifford, Penfield, Collison, Fithian, and rural Danville). Farming and related occupations form the major economic backbone of the district. The school campus is almost 28 miles northeast of Champaign-Urbana, 25 miles northwest of Danville, and 15 miles east of Rantoul in East Central Illinois. Under a two-year deactivation agreement with Potomac Community Unit School District No. 10, Armstrong Township High School provides a secondary program for Potomac High School Students. Armstrong Township High School had a graduation rate of 98% in 1998
