The purpose of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce shall be the development, encouragement, promotion, protection and advancement of the commercial, industrial, professional, financial and general business interests of Arlington and neighboring areas, general welfare of the community, encourage the development of the transportation and communication facilities of the area; to procure laws and regulations desirable for the benefit of business in general and the community; and to provide a forum for the reflection of the sentiments of business regarding matters affecting its interests and those of the community.
