Angel's Gate is a residential, non-profit, 501 (C) 3 home for special needs animals.  They house over 200 animals, many of whom are terminally and / or critically ill, or have been affected by Hurricane Katrina.  Susan Marino, founder of Angel's Gate, depends 100% on donations and has appeared on such shows as Martha Stewart and the Whoppi Goldberg Radio Show.
