American Pain Foundation Action Network

I was recently selected to serve as the Tennessee State Leader of the American Pain Foundation's Action Network (APFAN). In this role, I will serve as an advocate for those suffering pain by providing resources, information and community education. I am hopeful my efforts will give members of my community a better understanding how pain management can greatly improve the quality of life of someone struggling with pain. If you are one of the more than 76 million people who is suffering with pain, or you just want further information on the APFAN, please visit www.APFANetwork.org or www.painfoundation.org for further information. While there, please sign up for the Virtual March on Washington, the 10,000 voices Voices Campaign and see how YOU can get involved. September is Pain Awareness Month, and I will post more information within the next several days about any upcoming events. While you are signing up for the Virtual March, please review the Pain Awareness Month Advocacy Toolkit. You can email me at [email protected] if you have any questions. If we all work together, we will make a difference.
The Bottom Line: Americans have a right to timely, effective pain management.
