About Our Church:

On May 2, 2004 the Amazing Grace Apostolic Church was officially birthed into existence. This was a grand celebration of what great things the Lord has done. Elder Derrick L. Williams Sr. with first Lady Juanita Williams by his side answered Gods call to start a ministry in the Chester, Upland area. Our first and current place of worship is 00 Main Street in Upland Pa. With twelve 12 original members Amazing Grace Apostolic Church was born. At the dedicational service there were over 300 saints, family and friends present to wish us well as we celebrated what God has done. Elder Rodney Willis associate minister of the Shiloh Apostolic Temple Church of Philadelphia, PA where the Bishop Michael S. Doub is the pastor & Elder Karl Moses Pastor of the Refuge Apostolic Church in Chester, PA were the Masters of Ceremony. During the service Elder Williams acknowledged over 15 different churches that came from far and near to be with us. Over 15 Bishops, Elders, and ministers came to share in this great day. Just to name a few in our presence were Elder Joel Doub, Elder Thomas Payne, Elder Curtis James, Elder Clifton Williams, Elder John Payton, Bishop Raymond Milburn, Elder Gandy, Minister Dombar, Elder Hand, Elder Philip Coley, Minister Mason, Elder Karl Moses, and Bishop Curtis Bordley. Bishop Michael S. Doub was unable to attend due to health reasons but God always has a ram in the thicket. Bishop Curtis Bordley of the Greater Love Temple Church located in Milford, DE stepped in due to the absence of Bishop Doub and dedicated the church and laid hands on Elder Williams as he installed him as the Founder and first Pastor of Amazing Grace Apostolic Church. We were also blessed to have Mother Eula Doub the wife of the late Bishop Robert O. Doub Jr. God blessed the service and the anointing truly filled the place. After being given the name Amazing Grace by God, Pastor Williams set blue & gold to be our church colors. Blue represents the Amazing atmospheric heavens encircling the earth, this is typical of Christ the heavenly One. Gold represents the Mercy Seat of God. The Mercy Seat of God represents Gods Grace. Thus we have Amazing Grace.
