Mission Statement :

The mission of Altamont Creek School is to provide an educational program that addresses the great variety of academic, social, emotional and health related needs of our students. While academic needs are of great concern, it is becoming increasingly clear that failure to address the other needs precludes great success in the academic areas. We believe that each child should acquire the basic academic skills, have the ability to communicate well, be able to access and apply information, develop a knowledge and an appreciation for the diversity of life and use critical and creative thinking to solve problems. Further, Classroom experiences should enhance the development of independent, cooperative individuals who evidence respect for themselves and others.
