The Alleghany County School System will provide educational opportunities which prepare all students to reach their full potential in life.

Alleghany County is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Our school system is composed of three elementary schools that serve grades Pre-K through 8th and one high school that serves grades 9 through 12.
