Ken Alberts, principal of Alberts Associates Architects has been awarded the prestigious 2010 Gold Key Award for Excellence in Housing Design by The Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago.

Mr. Alberts has received the 2010 Gold Key Award in both categories of Architectural Design and New Construction of Custom Homes 6,500 sq ft and over. The Northfield home, has also received the coveted Crystal Key Award for overall project excellence.

Ken Alberts, AIA, ALA, principal of the firm, is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Association of Licensed Architects. He was a key architect for Bang & Olufsen before starting his own firm in 1991, and  brings over 25 years of residential and commercial architecture experience to each project. 

Alberts Associates continues to design homes primarily in the North Shore suburbs of Lake Forest, Winnetka and Northfield and surrounding area. His work includes custom-designed new residences as well as additions and renovations to existing homes.
