We believe the Bible’s claim to be the uniquely inspired Word of God. As such, it reveals how one may come into a personal relationship with God. We are Trinitarians, believing that God exists eternally in three persons, each possessing all the attributes of deity.According to Scripture, God intended for humans to enjoy an ongoing relationship with Him, however each of us by nature rebels against His authority. By attitude and action we choose our way rather than God’s perfect design for our lives, behavior the Bible calls sin. So, instead of experiencing a wonderful personal relationship with our Creator, we find ourselves separated from Him. Without His intervention we can never find forgiveness and eternal life.However, God continues to love us and He sent His one and only Son into the world to be our Savior. Jesus lived a sinless life and ,by dying on the cross, paid the debt for our sins. He arose from the grave, went back to Heaven, and one day will come again to establish His eternal Kingdom. Membership in that Kingdom is offered to all who admit their sin, believe that Christ’s death bought their pardon, and commit themselves to Him as Lord and Savior.We believe that when a person receives the gift of salvation, that individual is changed - born again and that the Holy Spirit enters that life to equip them for growth and service.
