Learn about Mayme and Robert Garrett, parents of Katherine. Robert was a National Bank Examiner and later became Director of Insolvent Banks under Andrew Mellon.

Kate Smith married James Hazelwood Williams of St. Louis who was a shoe magnate. He was a founder of the International Shoe Company.

Selina Smith married John Osborne, who had served as third governor of Wyoming. He was certainly the most colorful of the men connected with Adsmore. He was a doctor and surgeon for the Union Pacific Railroad, mayor of Rawlins, and one of the largest sheep ranchers in Wyoming. He was also the First Assistant Secretary of State during the Wilson Administration and a chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
