A Touched by Grief, A Grief Support group in memory of Dr. Peter H. Saxman

Do you feel there is no one that understands what you are going through?
If you have lost someone so important in your life that you sit back and wonder how you will live in this world without that person in it. You are feeling lost and alone not wanting to go out of the house and meet the world that has been so cruel to you. It's not easy being the one left behind. Your world has been turned upside down and suddenly everything in your life has changed.

Losing someone you loved is the worst thing you will go through in your life. Life suddenly doesn't feel so important. But like it or not, you have to learn how to live life without that person. Otherwise you can sit in the house not knowing what to do. This group was formed so we can help each other grieve, share, and find ways to honor our loved ones lives. This hopefully will help you  rebuild your life and make some good friends along the way. We will walk, have coffee, and socialize and maybe have some fun again in our lives.Through a sharing of ideas, thoughts, feelings and experiences, you may realize that you are not alone.

This group was formed to honor my fiancé Peter Saxman PhD in honor of his life's work in helping people. Peter was taken from this life in an auto accident July 2, 2009 while driving home from his office. He was a kind, compassionate man who believed that we need to help one another get through this life. He not only taught the people around him to have a great heart, but how to use it to help others. Peter knew that the important things in life were not money, position or fame....But LOVE.

This is not a dating site,or a match up group. But if you are looking for compassionate people to help you through your journey, this is the group for you. This group
can provide a place to vent, share experiences with those who have been there, and talk about things you may not be able to share with your friends or family members who are also involved in the situation.
We will discuss our losses and help each other cope. I hope this group helps you in your journey through grief and life.
