This annual fundraiser helps to support youth in the YMCA of San Joaquin County’s sports programs, ensuring access for all.

Stockton, CA -- The YMCA of San Joaquin County is bringing back their annual fundraiser that acknowledges the support fathers and role models give in the lives of youth in the county.

“We appreciate the role models we have, and love to see the kids staying active and healthy, while learning the core values we cherish: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.” said Jessie Massey, Marketing & Communications Manager. “At the Y, we believe in providing resources to families to ensure that their children have access to what they need to reach their full potential. Y Dads Matter is just one way we ensure that the sports programs are able to meet the needs of the community.”

Y Dad’s Matter will feature Wayne Judge, the father of New York Yankees Outfielder Aaron Judge, as the keynote speaker. “It was just a natural fit, everything aligned.” Wayne commented when speaking about why he chose to speak at the event. The Judge family are long time natives to San Joaquin County. Volunteer Coaches will also be recognized for their outstanding efforts at the event.

Y Dad's Matter is sponsored by The 54 Fund. Tickets are $100 for a single ticket, $175 for couples. There will also be an auction starting September 6th, bidders can register at https://givebutter.com/c/YDM23/auction.
