Sweet as Honey

Honey is more than just a delicious treat, it is known to be a physical help! Come learn how to make homemade creamed honey in a short amount of time, so you can always have some on hand. We will discuss some meals that can be made, or enhanced, with this yummy snack. Registration is required.

Have fun and be challenged with hands on interactive math questions, riddles and activities to prove your answers are right on! This month we will be using dice, cards and guessing how many candies are in the container! Ages 7-11 years old.

Crochet Club

Join Kidspace’s brand new Crochet Club. This club is a great opportunity to meet other crafters and develop a new skill. Come with a project or start something new. Caregivers who are interested can participate as well. If you have supplies you would like to use please bring them. Hooks and yarn provided. Ages 10 and up.

Lean on Me – Social Services at the Library

Talk to an expert who can provide information and support for basic needs at the new Lean on Me! Program on the first Tuesday of every month. Meet one of Windsor Social Service's friendly and knowledgeable caseworkers to learn about programs you may qualify for. If you have questions about utility assistance, food, energy, Medicare, or more – our caring staff can assist. All contacts are free and confidential. Make your appointment by calling 860-285-1839.

LEGO Club

Come build and create with Lego open play in Kidspace! We'll have Legos out for everyone to play with including larger blocks for little ones! Recommended for ages 5 and up. No registration necessary.

Little Sprouts

Little Sprouts is STEM inspired play that explores concepts through sensory experiences. For your little sprouts ages 16 months – 24 months. Siblings are welcome to attend, but do not need to register.

Join us in Kidspace for our annual DIY Family program. This is a great time to make a beautiful craft for a friend or family member to celebrate the holiday season. All types of craft material will be available to use for your creation! This free program is open to all ages. Please register.

Too Knit to Quit
Thursdays, December 7- March 19
10:30am - 11:30am

We're too knit to quit in this knitting club! We'll meet weekly to knit scarves, hats, and mittens for those in need. Everything created in this club will be made available for those in our community who may need a little extra warmth this winter. Come hang out while we knit and listen to audiobooks. We'll have supplies, but feel free to bring your own! Drop-in, no registration required. All ages. Homeschoolers are encouraged to join us!

STEM Club

Calling all school scientists, engineers, mathematicians and inventors to this fun hands on program. This month we will be engineering a roller coaster for ping pong balls! Ages 6-11 years old. Registration is needed.

Get to Know Your Makerspace

7:00pm - 8:00pm

Drop in on select Thursdays, and get to know our Makerspace. Each session will focus on 1-2 machines. Come to one, or come to all! Learn what tools are available for you to use, and get the creative juices flowing!
