Where In The World Was Kari Lake? Georgia! Alabama!

Government and Politics

April 24, 2024

ARIZONA -– On the heels of Kari Lake’s trip to Idaho, where she said “’unfortunately’ Arizona isn’t enforcing [the] 1864 abortion ban,” Lake was “anywhere but Arizona” Monday night campaigning, not for herself, but for a “Trump-backed Georgia congressional candidate” who was subpoenaed by the Justice Department as part of an investigation related to the January 6 insurrection.

Last night Lake was in Alabama, and will be in Florida today, marking 4 out-of-state trips since Friday, continuing her “cross-country itinerary she’s mapped out to promote her campaign [that] appears better suited for someone with national aspirations or a book to sell” that’s been “raising eyebrows” for “how much attention she’s paying to her national profile.”

Republicans continue sounding the alarm on Kari Lake’s “limelight”-chasing campaign, saying they are “not sure what [Lake’s] path is forward,” that “Kari Lake looks increasingly like she isn’t a candidate that can win” as her “attempt at a campaign makeover appears to have fallen flat.”

After Kari Lake’s last Arizona rally, she received national criticism after encouraging political violence, urging supporters to “strap on a Glock” to prepare for the 2024 election
