The Groton Public Library is happy to announce a recent addition to our library space—the Zenbooth!
A Zenbooth is a private, quiet, and comfortable booth for individuals to make phone calls, conduct Zoom meetings, and study, in a focused and productive environment. It is soundproof, well-ventilated, and equipped with multiple USB ports and outlets, making it an ideal conference room alternative. Zenbooth is also eco-friendly, made from 100% recyclable materials.

Have a virtual job interview? Making a private business call? Participating in a telehealth visit with your doctor? Taking a test? This room will be perfect for you! If you are interested in reserving a Zenbooth, please stop in the Library or call (860) 441-6750 to book your space today.

Teen volunteers are invited to join us for an exclusive after-hours party. We will have pizza, dessert, a hangout space, and extreme hide and seek!

Read with Chase!

Stop by on Tuesdays for a chance to read to our very own service dog, Officer Chase! Limited to 15 minutes per family on a first-come, first-served basis.

Learn & Play
WED., AUG. 24 & 31, 10 AM
Young children and their caregivers will play and learn with others in a literacy-enriched environment.

Children’s Book Bundles (Sept.-Dec. 2022)

The bundle of the month includes handpicked books, a small craft, and a list of suggested activities to do with the family. Reserve online or by calling the Library. Participants must have an active library card.

Junior Friends Events  

Paws for a Cause: Through Aug. 31
The Junior Friends are sponsoring a summer pet food drive to benefit Groton Animal Control. Drop off new, unopened donations of dry and canned pet food or treats.

Library Helper Day
