Dear Weston Families, Staff and Students:

I am writing to share some exciting news.  Assistant Superintendent Dr. Ken Craw has been appointed as Superintendent of Schools for New Fairfield, CT.  Dr. Craw has served our district for the past 14 years first as Principal of Weston Middle School before becoming WPS Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in 2012.

During his tenure in Weston Dr. Craw led the district leadership team in implementing and refining curriculum and instruction at all levels.  He coordinated the district’s assessment program and oversaw the professional development team in the planning of professional learning opportunities including all district in-service days, staff training programs, and summer training.

I would like to thank Dr. Craw for his dedication to Weston’s children, his commitment to embedding innovation into curriculum and instruction, and his collaborative leadership as I transitioned to my new role in my first year.

On behalf of our WPS Faculty and Administration, I would like to wish Dr. Craw well in his new role as New Fairfield Superintendent, which he will assume on July 1.
